1. About CISSimple
CISSimple is operated by CISsimple, 5 Brayford Square,London,E1 0SG. The service helps UK construction businesses and their advisers with CIS record-keeping, deduction calculations and payment statement generation.
If you have questions about these terms, contact us at info@cissimple.co.uk.
2. Free trial and subscription billing
CISSimple offers a 7-day free trial on paid plans unless we state otherwise at sign-up. During the trial you can use the features of your chosen plan without being charged for the subscription period.
After the trial, your subscription renews automatically on a monthly or annual basis according to the plan you selected. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us and Stripe to charge your payment method for recurring fees until you cancel.
Prices, plan features and trial length may change for new customers. We will give reasonable notice of material changes to existing subscribers where required. Taxes may apply as shown at checkout.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account billing settings or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals; you will retain access until the end of the current paid period (or trial, if you cancel before it ends and no charge applies).
We do not generally offer refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law or stated otherwise in writing. Export any records you need before cancellation, as access to your account data may be limited or removed after your subscription ends, subject to our Privacy Policy.

You remain solely responsible for your obligations to HMRC and other authorities, including registering under CIS where required, verifying subcontractors, making correct deductions, issuing statements, submitting monthly returns and keeping adequate records. Always check current HMRC guidance or speak with a qualified adviser before relying on outputs from the platform.

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter and for keeping your login details secure. You must ensure you have a lawful basis to process any personal data about subcontractors or staff that you store in CISSimple.
We aim to keep the service available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scheduled maintenance and factors outside our control may occasionally affect availability.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of CISSimple shall not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid to us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) £100.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
